As the upcoming general elections draw near, a crucial question arises: “In which electoral district is my vote registered?”
Voter registration occurs within the constituency of residence, as indicated by the address on the individual’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
Knowing the constituency of your vote registration simplifies the process of casting your vote on February 8, eliminating the need to locate your vote on the day.
Here’s a guide on how to determine your constituency:
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has introduced a text messaging service that provides information about your constituency. Simply send your National Identity Card (NIC) number (without spaces or dashes) to 8300.
Ensure you have sufficient credit before sending the message.
Upon sending your CNIC, you will receive details such as the name of the electoral area, block code, and serial number.
Each registered voter can verify their particulars by visiting the office of their respective District Election Commissioner, where the final electoral roll is available.
