No one wants to see any ‘no go area’ in Karachi: Shazia Marri
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior figure Shazia Marri stated on Tuesday that her party continues to stress the importance of a fair playing field.
Addressing a public gathering in Sanghar, Shazia remarked, “The PPP was the pioneer in launching the election campaign. We believe that conducting general elections is the initial phase of democracy.”
Shazia reiterated, “Even today, we are underscoring the necessity for a fair playing field.”
She asserted, “The PML-N commenced its election campaign after a delay as well. The PML-N seems to focus solely on specific seats. If the PML-N adheres to democratic principles, then the PPP may consider collaborating with them.”
The PPP stalwart acknowledged the minority communities, stating, “Minorities constitute valued voters for the PPP, and we hold their respect in high regard. The PPP has consistently advocated for the rights of minorities.”
Discussing Karachi, Marri mentioned, “The residents of Karachi aspire to witness a transformation in the political landscape. No one desires the existence of any restricted or inaccessible areas in Karachi.”
