JI’s Naeem says why Bilawal is avoiding to contest elections from Karachi
In Karachi, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), took a dig at Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, questioning why Bilawal appears hesitant to participate in elections from Liyari if his party genuinely commands a mandate in Karachi.
Rehman criticized Bilawal and the PPP, alleging that the PPP secured its position in the Karachi mayorship through questionable practices. He further asserted that no political party, including the PPP, seemed ready to address the crises afflicting Karachi.
Emphasizing JI’s pre-polls success ahead of the February 8 elections, Rehman proudly declared JI as the largest political party in Karachi, highlighting their role in providing free IT education to 25,000 young individuals.
He stated that JI is committed to uplifting the youth, brightening their future, and economically empowering women. Rehman pledged to issue health cards to the residents of Karachi.
Asserting that under JI’s leadership, industrial growth and development in Karachi would be inevitable if the party secures victory in the Feb 8 polls.
Naeem ur Rehman raised inquiries about Bilawal’s absence from Karachi’s political arena, drawing a parallel with the absence of the PTI founder in the political battleground.
