PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has called on PTI workers to refrain from casting their votes for independent candidates and, instead, to support his party’s candidates on February 8 during the upcoming general elections.
During a public address in Mungowal town in Gujrat district on Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari once again appealed to both PTI and PML-N supporters, urging them to vote for the PPP if they wish to “preserve the integrity of the vote.”
He emphasized that if PTI supporters aim to prevent Nawaz Sharif from securing the prime minister’s position for the fourth time, they should avoid “wasting” their votes on independent candidates, as it indirectly supports the PML-N. Instead, Bilawal encouraged them to strategically exercise their voting rights.
