It is up to govt to ensure transparent polls on Feb 8: Hamdullah
Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Hafiz Hamdullah criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder during a press conference in Chaman on Tuesday.
Hamdullah stated, “The PTI founder had misappropriated the watch. He [PTI founder] is facing the consequences of his actions.”
Sharing his perspective on the upcoming elections scheduled for February 8, Hamdullah remarked, “The responsibility lies with the government to ensure transparent elections in the country.”

A few days ago, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman mentioned that there would be no “satisfaction” in the upcoming elections without the presence of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.
Speaking at an election rally in Tank, Rehman stated, “We will refrain from commenting on him [the PTI founder]. We do not support lecturing opponents, especially those facing legal issues.”
“We need to contemplate the factors contributing to unrest in the country. Why are we being restricted from accessing certain areas? The claim is that they [opponents] do not connect with the masses even during elections,” Rehman expressed.
