In a counter to PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s continuous criticism, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif urged him to dismantle the ‘private jails’ maintained by the feudal elite in Sindh. He suggested securing the release of women and children reportedly held in these facilities before addressing concerns about ‘political prisoners’ in the country.
“These comments were delivered by the former prime minister during a political event in Mandi Bahauddin on Thursday.
In response to PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s recent warnings about the potential negative impacts of Nawaz Sharif’s return to power, Shehbaz Sharif asserted that there were no political prisoners in Pakistan during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure from 2013 to 2018.”

“PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, without directly addressing PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, urged him to take action against what he described as ‘personal jails.’ Shehbaz Sharif challenged the PPP leader to release those allegedly held in these facilities before discussing ‘political prisoners’ in the country.
During a political gathering in Mandi Bahauddin, Sharif emphasized the PML-N government’s commitment to bringing about a revolution in the lives of rural people, offering small loans to farmers and youth to establish small factories for agricultural production. He highlighted Pakistan’s potential lies in its large youth population, advocating for vocational education and IT skills to harness their abilities, as the country lacks sufficient oil and gas reserves for self-sufficiency.”
